Hey,
So I'm trying to get as many opinions as I can on this, so I'm posting everywhere. I recently did a PI swap on my 96 stang. I've put maybe 1500 miles on it since then, and all is well (knock on wood). The engine has 115,000 miles on it.
A member in my club With the PI swap it is said that compression is bumped up to around 10.5:1. Would low boost (7psi or so) and with a "conservative" tune still be too much on my engine? When the car was apart for the PI swap, my ASE buddy said the pistons/heads/etc. looked in "suprisingly good condition."
What do you guys think?
Thanks,
Tyler
