x2 billion.

How overpriced are the again? I would be paranoid as hell if some dude at the gas station was looking close enough at my stang to notice the minor changes in it. Actually the more I think about it that story is funny as hell..

The leather was peeling off of mine and that was a bit rough, not so much like "OMG I CANT STAND THIS!" but still annoying. Plus these are actually soft and breathe. Your hands dont get all sweaty from driving and they're just soft and plush and nice.

well if the wheel is deteriorating then it's a different story, but obviously I'm talking about a stock one in good condition. I love the feel of my FR500, i just need to get it on the car lol.

Honestly if mine had been in good shape, I probably wouldn't have asked for one. I got it along with some bullit pedals for Christmas a couple years ago back before the FR500s went up in price.

The stock wheel is about 1/2 to 3/4's the thickness of the FR500 wheel...when I am racing or under stress driving the car for whatever reason I grip the wheel pretty hard. After a while my hands used to get very tired, cramp up a bit & eventually get stiff. No more since the FR500 went on! Plus the leather on the FR500 gives an excellent confidence inspiring grip! No slickness or slipping like the harder slicker leather of the stocker. Maskes my 500 mile days a piece of cake!

Sure Ford has raised prices through the roof ...since when did that stop us from buying something we really wanted? If you don't need or like it just don't buy it! It sure made a nice Christmas gift for me! We look at our savings for Christmas as the chance to splurge on the items we normally can't afford or are too cheap to buy!

My steering wheel... awesome for the track, don't recommend it for the street.

Don't knock it because you cant afford it...

So you have never had someone come up to you at a gas station or car meet and check your car out? It happens to me all the time and when the top is down there is an unobstructed view of the interior where anyone who knows about these cars will instantly notice the steering wheel.

Who make that one?

My favorite motorsport steering wheel of all time is actually this one.

It's just the right size, has good thickness to it, and it's only a two spoke, so there is less interference for hands. If or when I'll take the car off the street, that's the one I'd be looking for.

Not sure where you read I can't afford it, just don't wanna. I forget, how rediculous is the price? I remember thinking that if it was half price then maybe but that money can go to so many better places in my car. Now I am not unsulting you so lets not get into a war of wits, you will not lik me if we did :)

I get people checkin my ride never had anyone ask to fondle it......

You mentioned price in 2 different posts so thats a hint. Mine was $179 so thats not bad in the price department in my book.

Get a nice steering wheel like mine and you might be surprised how many people want to fondle your car.
