Plasma Booster?

I got one given to me just don't know what the germinate it's for neither did the person who gave it to me, it's brand new but has no instructions or even a brand name on it? It's a little red box with like 2 or three wires coming out of it? Is it good for/worth anything? :dontknow: I think it's function is to multiply spark kinda like an msd but not sure? I've had this thing in my basement for years just thought I'd see what it is.

I just can't find anything about these being used on a 5.0? My buddy bought it for his old 94 GT and never put it in cause he wasn't sure how to? Any ideas guys? :dontknow:
