Please help!

I have a 1998 Ford Mustang GT vert 4.6L 5 speed. My speed odometer and mileage/trip odometer are not working. I know the mileage is gear driven and I can fix that, but the I replaced the speed sensor and still got nothing. Can anybody help me please

Sounds like you got something going on with your cluster. Is everything else working like fuel, volt, temp, ect.?

The plastic gears that drive the odometer have broken. Its a fairly easy fix...I got my odometer gears from 50resto. I think I paid $25 for it and took me about 30-45 min to fix. You have to remove the gauge cluster, take it apart and remove the gauges from the electrical board. Once you do this you will see the plastic gear setup (2 gears) and can start replacing them.

Yep, its easy but annoying at the same time cause the gears are so small
