has any one use helicoil on a head boit and how muck is a helicoil kit 7/16-14 rated for?????????????

when you say head bolt, do you mean the bolt that bolts the head down, cause if so dont do it and why would you need a heli coil for that, if youre talking about the bolts that hold the acc brackets to the head, i used em and it works fine

its in the block its like 1/2 in little peace put its does not want to come out i use the two def. easy out tools nop the person that had the car befor had only water in it so it bad

yeah, I stoped reading when i seen it was your block. honestly laughed at the thought of someone thinking to helicoil there block.

A properly done heli-coil is as strong or stronger than the original threads.

How the heck did you strip the threads on an iron block!?!?!
