Time is the most tedious part of it. If you are interested in a polish that will make your job easier and cut time in 1/2 then PM me.

I'm doing my belt tensioner now and it is alot of work. Started out filing the casting lines off first. Switched now to 100 grit sandpaper. 320 grit is next with alot of wet sanding. Then compounds. Boy my hands are getting beat up :help2:.

How do you guys go about polishing your intake manifold? do you remove it and then sand it down?

Thanks in advance,

i polished my alt,ac compressor, smog delete, both front brackets, and valve covers.....only reason i didn't do the intake was id like to get a trick flow

to do it right you got to sand everything to get it smooth...i started with 80-150 grit depending how rough it was. then 220 all the way to 400 or 600 then i just used my 1 horse power grinder with a buffing wheel and hit every thing till it would blind you in the sun light
