ok so as you can see above i need to pick the next direction to go with my car.
i will not run under drive pulleys so dont waste everyones time by posting that as a bolt on.

i wont cut stock springs, so if anyone knows what the best setup for a heavy vert is i would love options to toss around.

if i run any nos it will need to be a plate setup to go between the upper and lower cobra intake.

just toss me some ideas guys, its starting to get nice here in oregon and i want to do as much as i can while its not raining for the upcoming 3 months.

I'd say you definitely need springs, H&R SuperSports give verts a very nice drop imo. You might want to plan on doing springs, struts/shocks and maybe some camber plates all at once; would give your suspension a nice start.

as a former owner of under drive pullies I would recomend not owning them. You will NOT notice any seat of the pants difference but you will see a difference in your charging voltage and will find yourself watching the idle at lights at night to keep it running.

the sig pic says its chopped to lower it. and that's a horrible pic to show the stock height but we all know how bad it looks without a pic anyways lol

my vote is on full length Subframes AND/OR Control arms.

What's the point of having that much power if your suspension can't handle it

I say lower it first. Ford Racing B and C springs only lower hardtops 1".
You could also do Cobra/Mach disc break upgrade.

i keep my eyes peeled for any cheap upgrades i can find. the breaks will probly wait until my current stockers need replaced.

right now my mind is leaning to the subframe/spring side of things. my car would look much better about 2 inches lower all the way around, and who wouldnt want sub frame connectors??? some LCA's couldnt hurt either...

ahhhh new teritory on my 5.0 i love it.

Suspension mods help convertibles a LOT. Mainly because they tend to flex quite a lot

1" drop did wonders on my son's 98. and he can still go over speed bumps.
