OK so I have a few questions.

#1: Whenever I turn the wheel side to side I get a popping noise. I figured it was the outer tie rod ends so I replaced those. Still made that noise after that. So I jacked my car up and tried moving the tire to see if it was the ball joints and it didn't seem to move at all. What else could it be? :dontknow:

#2: If I turn the wheel all the way to the left, the very edge of the rim rubs against the sway bar. What could be the cause of that?

Thanks in advance!

I have the same poping noise coming from the front and would also like to know whats causing it.

I also have the very slight rubbing issue when fully turned with my 17x9 cobra r wheels.

So you checked for up/ down and side to side movement ??? It didn't even have the slightest play in it. What size tires do you have on the front ???? Also if you have any bent suspension components that could also be part of your problem.

i would also recheck the ball joints. a small spacer on the front would cure the rubbing on the sway bar

the poping noise is definetly the ball joints. that was my problem on my car. Get them replaced asap. Mine actually seperated because i wated to long to do it. The ball joint came apart when i was going around a turn. good thing i was going real slow or else it would have taken out my rim and fender.

my car also has a bad popping noise that actually comes and goes. either when i turn sharp or accelerate hard, i can feel it right under my floorboard, i had the car on a lift and checked, and nothing was loose or hanging. i have brand new steeda ball joints, A-arm bushings, and all..

the popping could also be the caster camber plates, if an aftermarket set is installed. my UPRs did that after a few thousand miles of driving.

I rub a little too when turned all the way to the left... Anybody running the 03 cobra rims without rubbing?
