Hi,
My 02 Gt has a stage 2 clutch with the adjustable clutch cable located inside the engine bay ( sorry, couldn't remember the correct name for the piece that sticks through the firewall) I have been experiencing random power surges and it seems like the clutch doesn't really engage until 3-4k rpms. The clutch is also very soft. Could the random surges of power have anything to do with the clutch engaging at different speeds? Can anyone tell me how to adjust the clutch using the piece in the engine bay?

So, firewall adjusters are usually twistable. you turn one way to tighten, the other to loosen. Do you have an adjustable quadrant under the dash? an adjustable cable under the transmission?

Well I found out the guy before me must have been a pretty big dummy because so far I know very little about cars but even I can tell that he put the adjustable quadrant in backwards, Im gonna have to take the whole thing apart and put it on the right way, youtube here I come!
