I completely agree with you, but if thats the one like mine (4 legs from Harbor Freight), it's rated at 1,000lbs. The 3 leg is 750lbs., and the giant 4 leg is 2,000lbs. I'd say these can hold at Least 500lbs more than there rated at, just not safely. I'm getting ready to pick up a giant 4 leg, and cotter pin it to the floor for torque applications. A good 3/4 eye bolt in a concrete floor with a chain going over the legs tightly to hold it down, will also work. I want zero play when torque sequences are in place. I may make specific brackets for each stand.Cool pic but all that shit hanging from the stand would stress me out
