realizing my car problem really isn't so bad after reading through the past week of stuff here.
I have been debating which k member to go with for my swap. My 1st choice is MM, but the price is just that much more than others. Been trying to decide if the BMR is decent to use. Its only $350 and i could use stock control arms. I'm not really against using tubular a arms, just don't care to spend another $250 for those.

I completely agree with you, but if thats the one like mine (4 legs from Harbor Freight), it's rated at 1,000lbs. The 3 leg is 750lbs., and the giant 4 leg is 2,000lbs. I'd say these can hold at Least 500lbs more than there rated at, just not safely. I'm getting ready to pick up a giant 4 leg, and cotter pin it to the floor for torque applications. A good 3/4 eye bolt in a concrete floor with a chain going over the legs tightly to hold it down, will also work. I want zero play when torque sequences are in place. I may make specific brackets for each stand.

This is the beast I want to have (1 ton), I have the smaller 4 legged stand (.5 ton). Ive had a fully dressed 2v, bullit intake, and long tubes (I'd say 500lbs), basically half of what it's rated at. It makes for a good day when you have the appropriate tools. I would like to drill the rotating area to where she can have it in multiple angles.69522_W3.jpg

I would not try it on that 3 wheeled tripod POS
I put a fully dressed 460 on it and bars bent
Those engines are heavy
