Hmm im not sure i would think it would be a mass produced part to keep the cost down.

I'm going with Rebel and say i think so also.

not the same, checking auto parts sites and comparing numbers is a good way to source direct interchanges

they always have different part numbers between years and models etc... but usually older power steering pumps are all the same or work just just fine...

I just dont know if the newer pump have the same bolt pattern... the older trucks and mustangs and pretty much any ford fitted with a v8 has the same pump... they're all interchangeable... I dont know if the part numbers are the sme or not but I've swapped em..

ummm.... no they dont? i used to work in the parts industry, ford might have different numbers (even then its usually per generation, not year unless its an embedded serial) but the aftermarket parts suppliers do not unless its a different part
