Yeah.. there's no such thing as a power steering pressure switch... Why are you asking about it? What is the issue with the power steering?

AFAIK, our cars do not have one. I cannot recall ever undoing any electrical connections to my power steering system. although that was 2 years ago. There is a part listed for our cars at my local part store, however it is also the same part listed for the V6 cars.

but Like i said, i do not recall ever seeing a pressure switch in my steering system

I dont remember seeing one on mine and i'm positive it has'nt got one, though my Focus has one and my wifes Focus C-Max has one usually located near the pump on the high pressure side, not unusual on later cars.

I assume you have a problem and someones told you it's that?

There is no electrical connection to a power steering system.

Well here's a Ford Mondeo power steering pressure switch in the high pressure line.
Maybe you dont have them fitted but they are commonplace in europe.

Explanation of a Power Steering Pressure switch, Real easy Real quick. When the vehicle senses a change in steering angle input it basically bumps the Roms up a few hundred to compensate for the drag on the engine accessories. I see a lot of these fail on Pt Cruisers. (work for Chrysler but speaking in general terms of how they work )
