Power washing a block?

I have found a power washer and i was planing to use it to clean my block but i was sketchy because i dont wanna ruin anything.How would the best way to do it.I REALLY need some feed back asap thanks

power washer is safe. most shops use one in a cabinet. wipe cylinder walls with a lint free rag and mineral oil or engine oil afterwards to displace the water.

just take it to a machine shop and have it hot tanked.... 75 bucks and it comes out like new...
