Pre Wired '94 and '95 Mustangs and using the pre wiring

OK, Snakebit has an excellent article on adding fog lights to a '94 using the pre wired system. I am doing this with a '95. I have removed the consul cover, found the pre wired plug for the switch. I removed the coin holder, plugged the pre wiring into the switch. I added a relay and installed my fog lights with new bulbs. I still have no functioning fog lights.
Here's what I know.
The little light in the switch comes on when the low beams are on
The low beams come on, this tells me the fuse is good
I have used an F0Ab14B192-AA relay or equivalent

I have come across a number for the fog light relay F0AZ14NO89A

Could I have the wrong relay plugged in ?
I haven't got under the car to check if there is power to the plugs, but I think no based on not hearing any relay "click" when I plug it in
Any ideas from you experts? I do appreciate the help this forum offers

Sounds like everything is working as Ford designed it. The OEM foglights only come on with the low beams they are not independently powered. If you do not have a convertible you can use the convertible plug that IS prewired in the console wiring just look for the other plug about the ashtray area.... I cut that hot wire & fed it to my switch for the fog lights. I just cut the original hot wire to the fogs & taped it up... I don't remember the wire colors but there is also a post with all the details on here. That way anytime my key was on I could turn on my fogs independently of any headlights. Good luck
