ok, went and drove the gt, that was a bust. Had a vibration in the front end, the trans whined in reverse, the interior was ragged out, the top leaked, there was a mirror missing, and a hole was torn in the passenger door and the front of the passenger side quarter.
He wouldn't consider dropping from 3400, instead he reminded me of what mustangs sell for around here.
so... needless to say, he still has it

and that gt, I forgot to mention the car pulled to the right, the car had "brand new" brakes but the whole car vibrated when you pressed them, the abs light on, the headlights that only work for 5 minutes at time, the vert top lifting up on the edges, the flaking clear coat, how much garbage was in the trunk, and when the guy showed me the tire, he had to dig for it, then when he finally did get to the spare, the well was full of dog food and mouse crap and nests made from carpet and insulation. An idea of how the car was cared for, when I got there, he was standing in front of the car with his foot on the front bumper and there was a little kid hanging off of the rear wing/

about the original car posted, I know a guy that works at the auction house where the mustang went. Said that just for curiosity's sake, he'll let me know what it goes for. Found out more about the car too... which , had I known, I wouldn't have even started the post.... throwout bearing squealing and chattering like a bastard, the clutch shudders when you pull out, the car pulls to the left going down the road, and pulls hard to the right when you brake. Its pretty much junk, BUT, he told me from what he's seen lately that "its a mustang, it will bring a decent price". He told me that from what he's seen at work, that it will probably go for more than 2000. He admits its crazy and can't explain it, but swears its true.

yup , BIG time, especially michigan and indiana cars... and I'm only 30 miles from michigan and only 15 miles from indiana

wow. guy I used to work w/, his dad lived up north, drove all the way to florida to buy a early 90s f250. brought it back up north and sold it for 5k more than he bought it for.

Around here sn95 are everywhere, foxes aren't so common at least not in good shape. Most sn V6 sell from $700-$1400 and the GT's start around $2000

its not to bad for that gt. mine was 3500, with a broken back window. but mine was ford serviced its whole life and only had 114k miles on it. owners manual with all its info.

times are hard people are broke, they will try to get as much as they can out of you.
