Hey guys, I hate to bring up Camaro business on this site, but here goes. My friend is looking to get a Camaro and is trying to figure out if this is a good deal.
http://www.autotraderclassics.com/classic-car/1984-Chevrolet-Camaro-286674.xhtml?actionMethod=find%2Fvehicle%2FvehicleSearchResults.xhtml%3AuShipController.init&conversationId=48505

If you guys have any input on this it'd be greatly appreciated. I think if the seller really did what they said than it should be a solid car. I'm just not sure on the price and what kind of crappy mileage a 3 speed automatic transmission's going to get. I personally think he shouldn't buy it just because of the body style, but he's stuck on getting this style. I'm not very well informed in this area of cars, so I need help as does he. Thanks guys.

Seems like he's asking a little much unless its a built lt1 and not just a stock one pulled from something else. I'm not positive though but that style camaro doesnt go for much more than 3g's around me

I agree it's ugly guys, but i'm just wondering about the price. Personally I hate that style too. I think the price is high, but it's a really clean looking car.

It's missing carpet and the headliner.. they have all the rest of the interior, it just needs put in. I told him to pass on it anyways lol. The paint, engine, and suspension are all supposed to be fairly new, but it's still too high probably.

I think it's to high too. and it's not finished!!!
plus why only put a 300hp crate LS 350. I call B.S.

there is a sucker born every minute. I think the seller is fishing for a sucker.

And friends don't let friends drive camaro's.

My friends dad bought a very very nice Z28 third gen that was completely orginal with low miles for $5k from a woman who had owned it for the past 15 years. Had a little spot on the roof that the woman had repainted when she bought it (stayed outside before she had it, clearcoat baked on top) and its a little obvious but it was super clean. He threw a set of 18" Boss 338s on it and its pretty clean.

i could have bought one in better shape, im talking the CLEANEST 80s camaro you have ever seen off of the original owner for 3k and passed on it. so that is definitely not worth it.
