I was shopping for a diesel.... but I really don't want a diesel price tag though I can afford it..... I just don't want to..... So I will probably get an older L and drop it put some wheels and tires on it and call it a day......chya when monkeys fly out of my but..... I always go full retard. I just don't know how I'll do it. Pulling the motor is a ***** so I will either buy built or not go hi HP.
The Ecoboost F150s are pretty impressive as well. I've had my Ram now for a year, Cummins 2500, 2014. Can't complain, all the electronic gadgets, 800ft/lbs, and 20mpg. You shopping for used? new?
Yea, I used to know that feeling, lol. Anything with a decent turbo-diesel will have a $10-15K+ price tag out here in CO. 4x4 of course. The early Ecoboosts are getting in that range too, I thought about a L for a work truck, but not having the 4x4 killed it for me. IIRC some years of the Harley Trucks have the L powertrain and are available in 4x4 and 4 door, but I never got to looking at any. I found a 04 Cummins 2500, put 150K on it, and now got the '14.
Do it I miss my Lightning, I had a 99 and daily drove it for 3 years and traded it in thinking I would buy an 03 but kept putting it off.
Wish a lighning was practical to drive here... Want one so bad, but would be awful in winter. With my blown 98 I drove most of the time in 2wd, but there are times were you just simply need all 4.
I wish they had awd availible ...... but yeah i picked up a 2000. It has racing stripes so i wont post pictures until they are gone lol
