going fast gets you into trouble . . . trust me lol, running mid 13s would be tots though. seems possible with a mild h/c/i and gears. my goal at least.

Mid 13s and fast in the same sentence ;)

lol the problem with going fast is you always want more

I remember back when I first got my NPI turd how excited I was to break into the 13s but even when I was running consistent low 11s I wasnt happy.

Don't you guys remember the magazine editor's article that stated it is possible for a New Edge GT with 260 stock HP to go into the 12's? It has enough HP to do the job but everything has to be executed perfectly & with perfect traction....so it boiled down to the driver as the problem...LOL...you guys just can't drive! (Neither can I)

The motor itself with a bunch of weight reduction, suspension, gears, tires, possible.

100% stock, no, maybe mid 13s at best launching its heart out on slicks

You can make anything fast on a nice bank account so thats not a good point.

The good thing about mustangs is the parts are cheap and plentiful to make them fast.

The bad part is it seems like the LSx cars have been making retarded power and running 11/12s without breaking a sweat while us mustang guys have always had to resort to power adders to run comparable times.

The coyote changed this, finally ford released a badass motor into the GT's that mustang enthusiasts can be proud of.

In high school I always considered sn95's 'chick cars' and discounted them heavily... it was Fox or STFU... Now, Im glad my car gets overlooked ;)

Amen!

They aren't really that expensive.

Buy from somebody who has good feedback already and who's been around for a while. There's really nothing to worry about, especially if you pay with a credit card or PayPal because there's buyer protections in place.
Expensive is a relative term. I'm in college, 22, working part time at walmart; to me $3000 is expensive lol. Good thing I might not be going to university so more money for mods; or bad thing lol.

Yeah I know the jist of it but sometimes there's people who join forums just to sell their supercharger and never have posted before. At least I see this on svtp a lot. It would be much harder to find a sc for a b head on this site. But with those protections in place are you guaranteed to get your money back? I don't trust people. There was a SC locally one time for dirt cheap, including comp cams, and I passed it up and bought a dd/offroad warrior yota. Damn.

I get what you're saying.

It's almost safer to buy things online because if you get a piece of shit, you just file a claim with PayPal or initiate a chargeback with your credit card provider. With craigslist, you almost always deal in cash. If you find out later that something's busted, you're pretty much screwed and have no recourse.
