problem with stereo in my 98 gt

wassup....i've been having a problem with my stero system in my 98 gt. i can't leave my fuse for my amps in over night or for a long period of time or else it will drain the battery. it's really getting annoying, because i can't listen to any music without having to put a fuse in the main compartment by the engine and then when i'm done i have to take it out.

a buddy of mine thought it could be a short in a wire telling the amps to shut of when i turn off the car, but he didn't know or sure.

a side note....when i turn off the car with the fuse in or the stereo on, the amps make a huge pop noise.

i'm new to car maintenence, so where and what could that be? is it easy to get fixed?
