Last call of the day basically came down to the owner sayin he is gonna send me correct rear bumPer but he is not replacing my front. He says they will only repair "DEFECTIVE" areas and that's it! I told him there is no repairing it and that was about the end of it.

I have no fucking clue what will happen now. Guess I just have to wait a couple weeks and see what I recieve

Justin I wish I could but you have to do that pretty quick after original transaction. I've had the items for 36 days before fitting them so if I tried to do it now it would be too late. Plus I used my visa check card and not a credit card. I don't know if you can do that the same with them

seriously lets start a good/bad vendors area. Just open it up for posts like this to let people tell what happened to them either bad like on here or on the summit racing post recently praising them. It would be a great data-base for our members to be able to look over and see what has been done previously good or bad.

I did a charge back on my debit card a few months after a transaction and received a full refund. It took a while for the bank to process it but it eventually got done. All depends on your bank also (I have Wells Fargo). I can see it getting complicated in your specific case only because you still have the pieces you ordered. It couldn't hurt to call your customer service line and have a chat with a rep (that's if you plan on returning the pieces for a refund).

I am all for doing anything that will prevent this guy from ever getting another sale, worst business ever

Again I will say it, this guy is the single worst example of customer service I have ever met

actually steve-oh i sent them back the bumpers and thats a big part of the problem now is that the guy is going all anal saying he isnt sending me a new front bumper or fixing the front so im curious as to doing the chargeback.

what dod you do just call your bank and tell them you are disputing the charge? i thought you could only do that if you had fraudulant charges??????

someone enlighten me as thats how im thinking this is gonna end up goin.

It would be up to them to decide if it's repairable or not. Telling him it's not does nothing from a vendors point of view. I was told many times something I sold wasn't right and not fixable... and the installer was doing it wrong. Not my error at all, but people would be so dead set in their mind that they HAD to be right. Would also put a chip on the my shoulder being told what was right by someone who was wrong.

I like that idea, but it kind of sucks for vendors. Most of what you'd get is one sided complaints as most venndors won't discuss/argue on the open forum to retort any complaints about a company/parts/service.

EDIT: I just realized there is already a FEEDBACK section just under the Classifieds.

I got my side skirts from them and they were totally deformed. My body guy had to rework them = me paying for hours of labor at shop rate....

Ooof, this sucks, they have that awesome Cobra front (actually its the one on Dalamar's car right above this post) but after seeing this thread... I dunno I think if I ever want that bumper for my car I'm going to have to look for a used one that has already proven itself to fit properly. Although I do remember a topic where it is mentioned that the area around the grille doesn't come up all the way to the hood even on ones that fit right...

Anyway though yeah I won't be giving these guys any of my business. If I want something it'll be Cervinis, Design Concepts, Harwood, Kaenen, HOF or one of the other proven vendors. It just really baffles me how companies like this stay in business. Not like there aren't a million other choices out there... probably because they are so cheap but as was mentioned before, this isn't the late 90s, there is a TON of info out there about different companies. If you can't find any feedback on a company, just start a thread asking about them on 3 or 4 of the big Mustang forums and you'll get a good feel for how the company is.

update......got the bumpers in today....over a month later! the rear is not that bad of a finish but the fiberglass is thin in a lot of spots so ill have to reinforce it before ill trust putting on.

the front im not sure what to think of......they didnt replace it, they FIXED the split and twisted areas and cut a majority of the lower lip out.....??....??......i guess cause they couldnt get it straightened out enough.

we are going to work on the sanding and prepping this week when we get time so we will just have to see how the pieces fit and ill update more then......

that sucks. See how it fits before you do anything to it. Putting new glass on it out of the mold could have caused it to warp and I would hate to see you do all that to it and find out it just will not fit right.
