procharger installed pics inside

my friend its selling a procharged p1 that was installed in his 98 with pi heads .. would it fit in my car i have a 96 with a 04 pi engine .. i dont have to change the bracket ?

which timing cover do you have?

you will have to get the appropriate bracket for the timing cover wheather you used the 04 one or your 96 one.

you will need one for the 04. when i had my 03 motor they told me i needed a 01 to 04 supercharger because of the brackets. the 03 timming cover is diffrent than the 98 hince why your belt tensioner is diffrent plus water pump etc.

It sounds like it will fit. If he had to modify his 96 timing to accomodate, it sounds like youre ready to go. If it didnt, I dont imagine its too hard to find the parts to make it fit.

ok i just bought the procharger from my friend . only problem is "nonintercooler" can i run 6 pound of boost without a intercooler ?

look on ebay procharger only uses air to air intercoolers and you can pick up a universal one for cheap i got mine for 75 bucks and and its not to hard to make mounts or do the plumbing to route it down and around

but the question is ... can i run the car without an intercooler ... like 6 pound of boost till i get more money till buy an intercooler ???????????

4-5 of my friends run 10 psi non intercooled with a tune. they dont get to run much timing because of that though

No offense at all on this man, but it doesnt sound like your very educated on the forced induction subject. Research some good boks on the subject and do some reading before you jump head first into this and realize you have a million little questions that could be solved by that book or a little more research.
