Procharger kit with pi intake swap 1st time at track "bad tune"

I just got done doing a boost a pipe and pi intake swap on my 98 well the local track opened up this last weekend and I thought it would be a good time to do some air fuel data logs so I could send them to my tuner. My first run was a little nerve racking shifting at 4500 rpm in 1st and 5000 rpm in 2nd and 3rd I hit a 14.2 @ 102 mph my 60 foot was 2.391 well I noticed my fuel drop's hard right at 5000 rpm so I was a little pissed that I could not do any full passes but I did end up getting a 13.8 @104 MPH I was happy considering I SUCK at racing LOL and I was babying the hell out of my car and there is like no timing put in to it right now still trying to get the fuel right and the last time I was at the track with my car it was stock and only running 15's. @98 mph

Who's doing your tuning? Get that thing on a dyno and get the tune done right....then you should be in the 12's easy....well as long as you get traction and stop granny shifting :)

ya i could only go full throttle up to 5000 rpm because my fuel kept dropping hard on me. And there is no timing in it right now plus are track is a redneck track you get better traction on the streets no joke!!!! plus i suck lol

Defiantly get that thing dyno tuned. I would sacrafice alittle power to make sure you air/fuel ratio doesn't take a dive through you whole power band. These mail order tunes suck. Don't get caught up in the horsepower game get caught up the the x factor and the x factor is that you want your air/fuel/ and timing to be correct and you'll have your 12s.
