I am looking for the bracket so I can mount my procharger P1sc onto my 1996 mustang gt 2v. Does anybody have one laying around that they want to sell?

I already called procharger and the bracket is around $260.00. I was just seeing if anybody had a used one before I purchase a brand new one. The bracket that came with the procharger fits a 2001 mustang gt so I need to swap it out. Thanks

That bracket should fit. The only dif between a 96 and a 2001 is the intake and heads. :dunno:

I was told by procharger that the timing covers are different from the 96 and the 2001. The bracket that I need comes with the idler pulley mounted on the bracket and the bracket has a spot to mount my coil pack when I install my procharger.

I put a 2001 PI motor in my 96 and used the same bracket to re install the s/c :dunno: The diff in timing covers is windsor or romeo. The idler pully isnt mounted to the bracket its behind it. And there should be 2 holes in the upper left side of the bracket that you mount your coil pak too.

Heres the idler pully i just changed it. You need 2 spacers. You can see one of them in the photo.

I thought the only thing different from the windsor and the romeo engines was the valve cover bolt pattern but I am not sure about the timing cover. I take it you have the windsor motor in your car since you installed a 2001 PI motor. I don't see anywhere on my bracket that came with my procharger to mount my coil pack too. dunno: Do you have a picture of your charger on the car? Thanks

I have a Romeo engine. On the windsor timimg cover one bolt is bigger and you have to drill out the hole. Thats the only dif. I think maybe you have a 3v or 4v bracket. Ill go take a pic brb.

I am putting this on my PI headswap with stage 2 heads and comp cams. The lower end is still stock for now. I am only going to be running 6 psi of boost with a real good tune due to the haedswap. I did install multilayer headgaskets along with ARP headstuds.

There is a part # on the bracket so I will call Procharger tomorrow. I did give procharger the serial # off of the supercharger and they told that this unit was for a 2001 mustang gt 2v and when it was purchased. :dunno:
