progress on my buick

i have been neglecting my buick for over a year now, cause i fell in love with mustangs, but im going to start working on it again. i took fuel tank out and fuel lines. im re doing the fuel system. i got a edelbrock 160gph pump, 6an steel braided lines,mallory bypass regulator, and all the an fittings to finish the job.i just need the fuel cell to finish the fuel system. next will be to finish the rearend. i got lots of work but i need to get back in to it.ill get pics tomorrow of the progress, and parts.

Buick? You know we need pics of this!!! Oh, yeah you dont want the boys to know what you have? I didnt catch what model it was.....

ohh man i been busy lately but, heres the progress. right now im redoing the whole fuel system. i yanked out the whole system including tank and lines. i got a 160gph edelbrock pump, mallory return style regulator, fram canister style filter, 3/8 fuel inlet line, and 5/8 return line.im going to buy the 16 gallon fuel cell this weekend and the rest of the steel braided hose. i got most of it and most of the fittings, but still need some more.enjoy.........

the car is dustier than shit. its been sitting for a while and got motivated to start working on it again.

a 90 degree angle fitting woulve looked a lot nicer on that feed line coming out of the regulator ::) j/k. finally after years of being ignored. mustangs get adicting dont they. its coming out really nice. O0

i knew u were going to talk crap about my straight fitting ::)
when are we going to finish the return on ur 85?????
and cant wait till i get the crane cam, and the nitrous. also im going 4.10s , and a eaton posi,

The Skylark is looking nice. You don't see too many of them at the cruises around here. Looking forward to seeing it completed.

i have to clean it, the car has been out of comission for like 2 years and need to get back on it.

Sorry I am not up to speed on my GM engines by eyeball, but is that a 350?

I suspect that with the bigger carb and that fuel line that it is built for upper RPM performance? The 750 is a good sized carb for this sized engine, presuming it's a 350, when built for upper RPM duties. If the engine is built otherwise that may be too much carb for it.

I like the older engine compartments much better where you've got room to work. On my '68 Charger I actually used to sit ON the fender with my feet resting on the exhaust. You can't do that today.

Nice to see someone your age into an old classic like that. Find a feather duster. ::)
