Hello,

This will be the build thread of my 1994 Mustang which started life as a V6 5-Speed.

As many of the older members here remember I used to own a 98 Mustang GT (Silver) and I owned that car since I was 15 years old, I knew every single nut and bolt on that car and just had a connection with it that felt like my own Brother, after getting married in 2009 I traded it for a full on 1989 Mustang Drag Car. My wife begged me to keep the 98 GT but thinking I knew everything I went ahead and traded it losing all the sinamental value and the car I wish I would have never gotten rid off. Well long story short after owning 3-4 more Mustangs & a 1970 Chevy Nova looking to find one that could take the place of my 98 GT I had stupidly traded away, I just couldnt replace that feeling. So finally after 3 years looking I found what crazily I have always wanted and needed to began with, A 94 Mustang very simular to my 98 GT.....

A 94 Mustang V6 you say?? YES for serveral reasons.

Number 1: 1994 is under the NC non-emissions law since anything over a 1996 here has to be checked for emissions
Number 2: Why A V6? Because I am just looking for a very nice straight body to rip the V6 out and put the motor of my choice also cheaper to buy this way
Number 3: It had to be the same body style as my 98 GT

After finding the car I was looking for and finding one in very good shape its now time for the Project to began....... "Project 4.SICK2 The Tribute"

Notes****** - This car will be a Tribute to my 98 GT which is pictured below!

Sounds like fun man be sure to post it up as you make progress! And I know the feeling of the sentimental value, it's exactly why I won't get rid of my Grand Am lol. Don't know why but I just CANT part ways with it ha

Sorry for the delay here are the pictures of her all cleaned up after moving into the new house. We were living in a apartment since I moved from Asheville to Charlotte so every time I would clean her up it would just get nasty since it was just sitting. Now that was have the house the fun can officially began, first things first going to take off hood, front fascia, all interior, rear wing, and more to get her ready for paint.

I do need help with color choice... I want to either stay White with black roof & pillars, Atlantic Blue with black roof & pillars, or Gray with black roof & pillars.

The wheels for the street will be either Black Bullitt's or FR500's 18x9 & 18x10's,

Wheels for strip Weld Racing Wheels RT S71 17x4.5 Front (Black), Weld Racing Wheels RT S71 15x10 Rear with Bead Locks (Black), Tires In Front Hoosier 26.0/7.50 R17 Pro/Street Radial, Tires In Rear Hoosier 325/50/15 D.O.T Drag Radial

I will later switch to CCW's Classic's Polished with black inter-section later but will go Buillitt's or the FR500's for now to keep cost down.

Garage=awesome! For color I'd go with Atlantic Blue with black roof & pillars, black & white is so common.

Very true thanks for the reply, right now Atlantic Blue is in the lead in my mind for some time. I want something kinda different but not over the top crazy, I know for sure I will run a S-281 rear spoiler but still undecided on front fascia. Right now I am thinking of going with a Cobra front fascia

As for the garage I have always had one when I lived in Asheville but having to live a year with out one has sucked!

Great minds think alike - my thread earlier today was about buying a Cobra front. I purchased a Cobra hood from a forum member a few months ago and now I'm thinking that the GT front doesn't match. Sigh, the never ending money pit!

Lol no joke on the money pit, I know for sure I am going with the Cervini's 1995 style Cobra R Hood with the 3.5" raise so I know I will need the Cobra front for sure probably

That's not atlantic blue in the bottom picture?? That's a much darker blue. Unless we aren't talking about BAB bright atlantic blue?

Either way that blue in the pic is so sick! I wish my car was that color.

Sounds like its going to be a fun build.
