well i'm deployed so i put my car in the capable hands of my buddy mat (wyotech instructor) for some mods. he's doing the pre mods dyno (mostly stock) right now and then he will be putting my bbk shorties, offroad x and slp loudmouth on and dynoing her again. also tossing on the adjustable fuel pressure regulator. can't wait to see what she's got! i'll keep everyone informed! also purchase in the time frame of right after deployment......

17x11's on all four corners so i can toss some mean ass hoosier slicks on her for autox!

Its gonna sound badass, I had BBK shorties/OR X when i first put my SLP's on. Sounds sick, just was too raspy for me. And 17x11 up front? You're gonna rub the shit out of those tires man. Youd be better off with a 17x9/9.5 wheel wearing a 265 tire.

it's gonna have fender flares. 265's are tiny for autox. if you wanna be competitive you BETTER be packin 315's on all 4 corners. lol. and right now i'm running 17x9's with 275's all the way around. no issues yet.

Fender flares wont poke the wheels out any. I hope you're getting spacers or a custom offset for the front, or they WILL rub on ya. Would hate to see you tearing it up and then cut a tire. I only have video of the current setup, the BBK stuff was on the car when I bought it & it didnt last very long with me at all, no HP gains.

I had JUST put the L/T's-O/R H on that day so I still need to make a better video once the weather clears up around here.

well ccw makes any custom offset, size, back spacing. they tailor it to your car. hence how expensive they are. but the scca e street prepared national champ is a 95 mustang running 17x11's and 315's. haha.

Sounds awesome, but for that much tire you'll need a LOT more power out of that Cobra to push them around.
I'd go 17x9 with 275/40 all around in an R compound tire. I ran that up to 500+ rwhp and they stuck just fine.

the national champion car was running those and was only pushing 237 wheel hp. lol. i'm telling ya....autox is about tires and handling. my car sticks pretty good with my 275's yes. but....the guys with 315's are eating me up and spitting me out. it's insane. my brother ran that class a couple years ago in his 08 gt on 275 r compounds with around 330+hp and was still getting his ass handed to him by a camaro with 315's. lol. i'm planning on doing a few more mods to the car and hoping to get some good hp out of it and we will see how it does. what do you think i should do motor wise to get a solid 260-270 horse out of it? if i can do that i will be happy. anywhere in the near 300 range will be great for our cars in an autox environment.

here's a link to the guy who is selling the national champion 95 mustang gt. it says everything the car has and is exactly what i'm basing my car off of other than mine is a cobra so i'm actually on the upside hp wise. this car is badass. i can't find any pics though. lol.

i
t's all about suspension. also my buddy is tossing on some upr upper and lower rear control arms for me while i'm out here. i already out the full Maximum Motorsports coilovers on the car myself and it handles insane already. next is probably going to be a better front sway bar, and MM panhard bar. i'll keep everyone up to date on all that's being done to the car. idk if you guys checked out the pics of the custom adjustable ducktail i'm having made either but i put that in the build thread so check it out! she's coming along slowly. can't wait to get home and start working on it more.
