This is the second timing chain tensioner I will be replacing in the last 2,000 miles.
So my question is, do I just put the tensioner on and pull the pin and that is it. Or do I need to assist the tensioner at first in getting the slack out of the chain?
This is the style with the hydraulic and the toothed mechanism as well.
Any pointers?
