Manual... but I'm not set up for the drag strip... I have IRS.

Why the 4 30s if you dont want to drag? just curious, what are you going for on the car?

it wont be that bad. he will just never ever use 1st gear again... lol. i use 2nd gear to start up alot of the time anyways. lol.

I can't see anything past a 3.73. I myself am very partial to 3.55's

my car had 3.55:1s when i bought it... they were a very hearty gear. great streetable set up for the t45.

that's a lot of gear for a 2V. I know cobra's love the gear. If you have cams in your future, you'll take advantage of that gear.

Back before i bought my blower i thought of doing 4.30's and staying with my N/A setup with a 125 shot but i'm an auto so it wouldn't be that bad... on a 5sp thats lots of gear for a non 1/4 car.

Gears are a great mod.



I got 3:73s right now and wanna upgrade as I go drag racing from time to time. Thinking 3:90s or 4:10s. I got a 5.0/T5 though and I have to drive on the interstate to get to the track and the next nearest town that is over 5000 people is 30 minute drive out in the country. :crybaby2:
