PS3 Racing Wheel to get..?

Ok my best friend has a PS3, as do I, and is really into cars. More than me, syke :nono: ...But he has GT5 prologue, and with GT5 right around corner (Dec 17th Demo), and Christmas, not to mention his bday is december 23rd, i was thinking a racing wheel would be a perfect idea. The GT27 is my first choice, but with some more research i found Fanatec Games, (http://www.fanatec.de/webshop/new_usa/index.php?osCsid=ce4a7b6bf2b21cb0fbcf837d73d77243). Anyone heard of them?

This is what i was thinking of getting him...it doesnt have pedals, but has paddle shifting. Real leather, etc. Not to mention he loves Porsche..

**OK Main question. Does this wheel work with PS3, if anyone knows, or does anyone know of a bomb as* wheel??

Yeah it looks sick..only problem i dont exactly haev 180 to blow, so ill see. I dont want to get anything cheap, so its this or a different gift entirely lol.

it's only $180? i paid $130 for my Logitech Driving Force Pro a couple years ago for GT4

Well you got jipped haha, but it doesnt come with the pedals. With the pedals 299 lol

Also....will this work without pedals? like i want to get him just the wheel then he can get the 199 pedals or the 50 dollar pedals if he wants. It has paddle shifting so he wont need a shift knob right away..Thanks
