remove the front accessories. lift from the front and rear of the heads. I made lift plates specifically for doing 5.0's, they have 5/8" holes so I can bolt them to the thermactor ports, and I lift using a chain.

mine has a lift hook at one of the head to exhaust. i have used that or bolts into front and rear of heads. there is also an option off buying a plate that bolts to your lower intake manifold.

i recommend a blanket over the front bumper to keep lift from rubbing and scratching it if it gets to close or rolls.

A couple of 5/8-11 bolts in the cylinder heads (front and back) will serve as good lift points. Cheap too.

I have always wondered if it would be safe to make a lift plate that's bolts to the lower manifold? It seems a little sketchy using 6 smaller bolts in a aluminum manifold but people do it with carb manifold all the time and it holds up

I have the lift plate that bolts to the lower intake - works like a champ.
