thats like the only exception I see, and even then, it was a contest, not like they said "hey we'll give you this hood to demo in exchange for advertising our name on your car".

Like, when I was at the AmericanMuscle show back at the end of the summer, they were selling t-shirts with their name/logo on it. Why would I pay money for a shirt thats gonna do nothing but advertise their company? I understand that they have good products, and such, but thats what we're already paying for. the price of the products we buy, go towards their advertising. They dont need us to advertise for them, and they sure as hell dont need us to pay them to wear their logos. If they want me to wear stuff with their name on it, and basically be a walking/driving billboard for their company, then they can pay me for that, or compensate me in free products, etc.

Ive gotten free stuff from (said) companies before. but (especially in this case) for the most part, it doesnt come free. In response to an announcement they (AM) made, I did some graphic work for them as part of a "contest", in-return for a free product. Was it really free? No. Sure it didnt cost me anything, but I could have easily sold them my time and services for cash-value instead of a product.

Thats all it was initially...but then I did some graphic design things for them, and they painted my hood for free too...so I put that sticker in front of my headlight as a little compensation. Can't see it unless you're looking for it.

The horsepower that stickers give you are overcome by the drag it creates in aerodynamics.

I wouldn't put it on the car...

This is the only sticker on my car other than my inserts & rear blackout.

i dont buy clothes with big logos such as shirts with logos on the chest or back...
i hate when you get a car with the stealership frame tag and logo glued to the car.

Like they think they're entitled to possibly ruining the finish of a car (which happened on a previous car I owned; there was a permanent marking of a different shade in the paint where a dealership tag was put) by gluing their emblems on it, as if they were doing us a favor by selling us an overpriced car.

If you only have like 1 or 2 stickers on one side, and they're either black, white, or match your car, it can look good. But it also has to be legit. if you have even one eibach sticker on your car, it better corner pretty well.
I think most people go nuts with stickers and put as many on as they can possibly find, including ones for parts they don't have (lol). Then it looks like hell, and it gives car thieves a checklist.
