A car went up for sale near me today that I am thinking about begging for tonight, and I wanted to see if you guys think it's a fair price before I do. I am willing to offer to get a second job to pay for the car if the husband agrees, but I don't want to bring it up if the car is too overpriced...It
It's an 84 GT350. It's white, and absolutely beautiful and pristine (from the quick look I took at it) both inside and out. It's completely stock except for the wheels and stereo, has 102,000 miles on it. It's on it's second owner now, and he has kept it in a heated garage. They want $7,995.
What do you think? Is the prce reasonable?

It's a 20th anniversary edition. 2,604 were made in the Hatchback 5.0 5 speed.

This isn't a picture of "the" car, but it's one like it I just found online. "the" car has different wheels than these (much nicer!);

Oh yea, ok I know what were talking about now. Well to be honest this is all a "personal " choice of weather its worth 8k or not. Fox cars can have crazy prices for sure, I have been looking for a coupe for a few months now and have seen junkers for 5k and then pristine garaged baby's for 15k so its up to you as to if its worth the cost. Its not like it has LOW miles and hasn't been driven, BUT if its it super condition and obviously been WELL MAINTAINED, then ..........maybe it is worth the cash :dunno: For me to pay that much for a fox car, it would have to be super clean, and I MEAN super clean. Inside and out, and have a good history on service records wreck history and the rest. OR just be a tricked out car with lots of properly installed mods from body to engine.

At a minimum try to talk them down as much as you can, they probally tacked a grand onto what the will REALLY take for it :)

From what i remember the GT350 was just an appearance package. To me, that seems high for the car. But, if you like it I say go for it. And to add what Snakebit said, he is tacking more onto it because THE OWNER thinks it is a collectible car.

Hello,

IMO this Mustang dont have this value, don't forget that the 20th anniversary package was only appearance, it's a regular GT, whit the Holley carburator 4BB 5.0 L H.O. of 175 H.P., no dual exhaust originaly, and a 7.5 differrential, it's not really a collector edition and the mileage is to high to get a car in near mint condition, at $4000.00 it's well paid for a GT-350 1984.

You can find a better Mustang for $8000.00, maybe a SVT Cobra of 1993 or 1994-1995.

I decided you guys were right, it's overpriced. So I told him about the car, but didn't ask for it.
I'm really not looking for another car, it was just so pretty! lol.
Thanks for the replies.
