Getting a NPI with bolt ons:

75mm TB, 75mm Plenum, LT's, O/R H, Flowmaster CB, 3.73s, CAI. 24LB injectors.

What shoud this car run in the 1/4?

It'll be PI'd as soon as I get it.

i havent ran at the 1/4 mile in a long time, but when i was NPI i was making 218rwhp and 284rwtq, and that was with k&n intake, 75mm t/b and plennum, u/d pullies, aluminum flywheel, k/c clutch, msd coil packs, 170lph fuel pump, catted xpipe, magnaflow catback, and 9mm plug wires. added the PI h/c/i, and power went up to 265rwhp and 310rwtq. add a tune, and it went up again to 270rwhp and 312rwtq. i figure with your mods (you have LT's, ive always had the stock manifolds) we should be in a similar range

270 hp is pretty dang good for minimal mods, good luck with your new car, full PI, boltons, and some suspension work will get your 12's

xSoutherngun89lx or whatever Jerry's sn is, is running like 14.3's with a mid pipe, pi intake, and tune, and stock 2:73's, lol. Just as a comparison.

Really depends on your driving skills and conditions...with those mods I would say low.mid 14s....with pi intake and cams you might hit high 13s...full pi swap with those mods should be good for mid.high 13s...

but with drag radials and good driving you could hit mid/ maybe even low 13s.

The power is there...just gotta use it

PI swap will help but suspension is where its at. There is a local guy who did a 02 PI motor in his car with an intake and exhaust. Pulled off a 11.9 with proper suspension set up and weight reduction. Driver skill is also key along with practice and plenty of it.

cause that motors not making a lot of power...that thing would have to be gutted to hell and cutting like 1.5 60 foots :hammer:

It got down to the point where he cut off the tail pipes and took off the mufflers just to drop a few pounds while at the track. It was pretty gutted but still had the dash, door panels and carpet I believe. And did it on a stock T45 as well. I believe he was running slicks and I don't know about the rear end. He did a budget build and it worked pretty well for him. The guy can drive any car to the best of its ability. He just knows racing.

yea...im sure he does.

1/4 mile times have a lot more to do with the setup and driver than how much power your car makes.

More true words have never been spoken.

Most people go the track, run slow, and go home and spend more money on parts. It would be better to spend that money on more entry fees to the track.

I think most people have been there once or twice before they gained the knowledge they know now. I know I did at first.

I've beat my head against the wall a million times saying suspension. But having a tubular k is alot of work and not as sexy as cool sounding cams, so you never listen.

who is this directed to?

I dont do suspension work cause all I have is a daily driver that I pretty much dont car about 1/4 mile times.

I just go for the hell of it....but im not gonna spend money on suspension and slicks and crap for my DD.

I gotta spend money on tires/gas and serpentine belts apparantly. :hammer:

It's directed to all of you, everytime the question comes up, everyone says, heads, cams, blowers, nitrous. And everytime I say I know a guy with a bolt on npi...
