quick intake question

I know that some other aftermarket intakes flow better than the gt40 intake, but does it matter that much once a centrifugal supercharger is added?

some intakes can choke the motor when you add a charger. there are definately better intakes than a gt40. not trying to knock a gt40. they do good in certain builds. everything needs to be matched.

And whats your point? I never said it couldn't make good power. I said there are definetly better intakes out there on the market. Should I begin collecting flow sheets?

Well, the price was right (as in next to nothing) for a gt40 explorer upper/lower a while back. Sat in my basement all spring in waiting. I was planning on filing out the inlet on the upper to 75mm to mate up to a 75mm elbow and 75mm throttle body, port matching to the lower and plopping it on my stock 302 while I finish fixing up the rest of the car. Head/cam and either a supercharger or stroker kit to follow probably next year.

I was showing what kind of power he made with a GT40 :tard:
