Holy shit this thread is still living??? I didnt feel like reading through the whole thing.

Here lets compare...

I did a simple Yahoo image search for Neon Race Car and one for Mustang Race Car. Here are the common results...

Yahoo must be as biased as half of you guys because Google gave me a few better results for SRT4 race car.

Don't get me wrong, there's a reason I own 3 Mustangs and don't own my SRT4 anymore, but I think 90% of the hate on here is based on the fact that it's a Neon and nothing else and that's just retarded. I bet if any of you got behind the wheel of one, the second you cracked open the BOV, you'd have a massive grin on your face. They're fast, they handle good, their brakes are fantastic, they make all the right noises, they're easy to work on, and cheap to upgrade... even if the power does all come out at the wrong end. Just talking about them again kinda makes me want another just to piss more Mustang guys off haha.

You guys are all gay lol. SRT-4's are pretty cool. Sure its a neon, but who cares. If people hate mustangs, and you have a cobra, its still a mustang in their argument. Although, a Cobra is much cooler than an srt4 lol. But you get the point.

SRT4s sound soooooo damn good! If they weren't FWD I'd buy one. Cheap, fast, handle, sound awesome. Not sure on their reliability though.

Well this thread made my night reading, it has been completely funny. First off Neons are pretty lame, but I would drive the shit out of one. Second, who cares what car you drive, unless its a Honda, Hondas are gayer than Justin Bieber butt raping Andy Dick at a gay parade. I think it would be alot cooling having a 12 sec truck than a 12 sec mustang any day, but that's just me.

you guys must run bad ass srt4's. i rode in a few and raced a few in my cobra and fox coupe and i have to say i was not impressed. i always walked the ones i ran, and in the passenger seat they really didn't pull hard and i know the drivers weren't sandbagging.

I'll admit, I drove my brother in laws and it was kinda fun. Till I realized how much he paid for it and then a few moths later I drove my buddies WRX and it made me forget all about the Neon. Lol, but yes, as a little runaround car they are kinda fun, but the cons outweigh the pros IMO.

im a Dodge man through and through, my truck sh!t$ all over my mustang and probably 90% of all sn's on the street. NEONS. ARE. GAY!. highschool girls drive them. they arent all that fast, they dont handle that well, and my 5500lb SRT truck outstops them easily. They are that annoying fly that gets stuck in your car and wont stop ramming his head into your windshield even tho every other window is wide open. I also have, yes, a honda civic slammed fart can ect. you couldnt pay me to get in a SRT-4. constant engine issues due to idiots overboosting to try and go fast. However, at the end of the day, its the owners money, the owners time and who gives a flying f what that owner wants in life?
