Raced an srt4....

Had a buddy from work behind me at a stop light and we both turned left, i pulled it down into first and was rolling at 10mph and we both nailed it. I had him through first and half of second... Then his turbo spooled up and he walked. All in good fun, but now i realized my car needs to be faster haha. I think the 373s and torque really got me ahead, but my cars top end is non existent. Anyone else have any good street runs? I hardly ever race or even speed, but had to take the opportunity and it will give us somethin to talk about for a couple days hahaha.

Lol nice. I never street raced, but I did pull on my boys sentra se-r spec v, 6 speed, suspension, stage 2 clutch full exhaust.. Within 5 seconds my rear bumper was at his front doors.. Is yours a 5 speed or auto?

Auto, Hoping to do a shift kit and ratchet shifter soon. Once I swap heads Cam and intake I will put a stall converter in it.

Just think you ran a car with a turbo now if you had a turbo what kind of race would it be then ?

I would have a lot more power up top and I would have the torque and gears to help low end. I think if I had my motor with a turbo as is I would have had him barely, but a hci swap and a tune.... I would smoke him

Because he didn't race me. lol Jk

i beat an Acura tsx I think..highway runs. Sounded like he had exhaust and intake maybe. Walked him twice. I miss my old 03 cobra. Lol now that I have a 98 gt, all the cars I was used to picking on are things like ws6's and ss's. now I just cruise on passed them in my gt. lol

That's a normal outcome. SRT4 are superior. jk but they are faster. I like how they sound.

I got the car when I was 19. Loved it and all. But when I turned 23, I was in a stable relationship and just moved into the new place. Then priorities overcame my desires. Lol now at 25 I'm missing the heck out of it, now that I can afford both.

Exactly there nothing to joke about... They can easily walk mustangs with very few mods...and especially from a roll you just walked into there trap bc they can brake boost... And goodbye.

Raced my friends Cobalt with stage 2 supercharger from a dig... same story had him through 1st and 2nd and I was spinning through most of 1st. Once we went 3 game over but I was impressed with my 5.Slow....
