I need to replace the radiator core support on my 94' mustang, rusted pretty bad from coolant, but I was wondering if the factory core support is bolted in or is it welded/ spot welded in and how much if it needs to welded does it take to replace and paint it at a body shop, thanks I would look at it myself but right now the car is in storage.

There are about 4-5 spot welds on each. It's not a very hard job but could be costly if you take it to a paint and body shop.

i bought my core support from latemodel for 110, got it installed for 250. but i also dropped the car off with everything torn off the front end and everything out from under the hood. i was quoted anywhere from 750 to 1400 with them doing the disassemble and reassemble.
