o ok...another question since i see you have an 01 motor and im pickin up my 01 block today. when i do the whole motor swap is there anything ill need when i do the whole motor swap? im tryin to get everything together now because im expecting the worst when i diagnose this whole radiator problem. a friend of mine said to leak test the cylinder because i might have a blown head gasket

Since you're replacing that motor with another, I wouldn't worry about a CLT. As far as what you'll need for the swap, you won't need anything extra. Just some patience and a decent set of tools.

well if i dont have to do the motor yet i dont want to because i have some shows coming up so if i can just do the radiator for not then ill be happy. i just want to drive it for now. when i bought my last radiator from ford they said it was the last one in the country. and its not like i was some joe shmo from streets i worked at ford so i doubt theyd lie...GOD I HOPE THATS NOT TRUE...

but when i look up an aftermarket radiator it shows just 96...then 97-03 are all the same

Because in 97, they redesigned the fans I believe....

It makes me want to do the upgrade, with FL being all hot...

I swapped to a Fluidyne for my 96GT and it stayed cool ALL the time. Mine was is an Automatic as well, so It had hot transmission fluid flowing through it. To bad I wrecked the car 3 months ago and now have a $450 dollar fluidyne paper weight.
