Rattle?

Ok I've got a wicked rattle from my passenger front on my 94gt. I replaced passenger hub struts up front and brake pads. The rattle still exists. I did notice when I pulled it apart the anti rattle clip was gone on the passenger side caliper. I order a hardware kit and I'm honing to pull the calipers and put em back together. What else could it be other than pad chatter? It's pretty loud and I'm tired of rolling around getting looks like my ride is gonna fall apart. Sway bar links, tie rod end?

i have a very bad rattle as well coming from the front end of my car. it immediately goes away when i press the breaks. is it the same story with yours? also when i coast slowly its the worst, turns to an almost grinding sensation. i jacked the car up last night and could not find anything lose by grabbing and shaking the suspension componants. sound similiar to your story? i want some relief from this noise.

Mine did the exact same thing, I got the hardware kit and changed the clips and havent rattled since

I'm not sure about under breaking conditions. I know I'm missing a clip some I'm buying the kit and putting it in tonight hopefully it fixes it. I'll keep you posted nc_mystic

yeah put the hardware in and no more rattle. but now i hear the squeky what the freak ever going on in the rear... so its time for the rear hardware as well?

are you guys referring to the anti-rattle clips on the callipers? mind if i ask how much those cost? thanks

i think mine was maybe $20 from oriellys, ill have to look in my reciept box :/

Yeah its the rattle clips and the slide boots. Since I work for oreillys I get a much different price but retail the front kit is $11.99 and the rear set is $7.99 here in Cali.
