real cobra r rims?

I bought my car with chrome cobra r rims so i dont know where they came from or anything. They have the red r with the snake and on the inside they have the ford symbol and say MADE IN USA and 17x9. Does this mean they are real or what? I have never cared for the look of these wheels so im looking to trade them for some stockers and cash locally. Im wondering if the fact that they are made by ford makes them worth more money?

i dont know if it makes them worth any more but i have set stock wheels i def trade you for. but we need know where your from so you can do a local trade.

The Cobra R did not come with chrome wheels but I believe Ford was selling the chromes for a few years out of the catalog. They are more valuable if they are genuine Ford because they will be of higher quality and last longer.

Ok thanks for the info. This wasn't really meant to be a classified post. I just wanted to get an idea of how much cash i should look to get along with some stock wheels in trade. I did update my profile though.
