I want some 3.73 gears for the 5.0, but its going to cost a fortune for anywhere here to do it, if it was'nt for the shimming etc i would do it myself.
My other option is to buy a complete [or almost complete] axle ready to go, Summit seem to sell some that just need half shafts, but atm i need a rear axle that has provision for the rear ABS sensors [needed for our yearly test] i've read that a lot dont have it.
Has anyone dealt with anywhere that can supply a recon axle with a 3.73 diff, might be a fair cost shipped, but i would wind up with a spare axle, which cant be bad.

Get the Ford Racing gears and do it yourself. They bolt right in as long as you get the shims the same as they came out.

Well thats the worry, some people say just assemble it as it came out, others say you need to take extra care and so on.
I'm surprised there's no sticky on this, there's a million threads, and the first thing everyone suggests is gears.... ;)
