Rear gear question

Ok guys if I bought a differental with 4.10s already on them , what else would anything else special need to be done , could I install it or would I need to take it to a shop , and I plan on buying the bearing kit if this works out

To do this, you will have to check pinion depth. Thats the hardest part about the whole deal. You have to press the pinion bearing on and off until you get the depth right.

I've had hit and miss success with taking everything out, measuring, and reshimming as close as I could.

Sometimes it was within spec...Sometimes more tedious methods were mandatory
