Does the rear spoiler serve a real purpose or is it just for looks? I am thinking of removing it.

Thanks

It's for looks but don't remove if unless your car is lowered right, has tires wide enough and the wheels to make up for the wingless

The stock wing is for looks only and doesn't really provide any kind of aerodynamic advantages.

My old V6 was wingless and it didn't look bad. Sometimes I wish I would have kept that car, just to part it out because some GT and cobra owners would prefer the wingless truck deck and I could have sold it... along with the V6 rear bumper cover for those who hate the cutouts for the exhaust tips.

Your car would pull it off nicely. It sure would be a shame is something "happened" to it and it had to come off.... wouldn't it?
