rear sway bar not fitting!!!

well i installed my sportlines and spec d's and followed the instructions line by line and then i went to line up the sway bar and it doesnt fit! like not ever close. if i line one side up on the control arm the other one sticks out like 3 inches past the other control arm!! please help asap

Try using a floor jack to align it. Loosen up the other side as well to make it easier on yourself.

the weird thing is the lca are already maxed out in the widest direction. so if i loosen them, i still wont be able to get the gap in between both lca larger. its really strange. it just slipped right out when i was taking everything apart, now its giving me so much trouble

I had to put some serious force to bend my sway bar into location when I broke my stocker and put on my steeda swaybar...it was off by a few inches. Just give it some elbow grease, it'll bolt up.

is the axle hanging or is the weight of the car on it?
It might help to align it if the axle is hanging
