Hi everyone. I have a 97 cobra that was just custom tuned 260 miles ago due to a vortech being installed. But it is STILL running super rich by the tells of my wideband. I think it's because my off road h pipe. I'm putting on a high flow catted h pipe next week. Do you guys think it needs another tune by a different shop as well?! It's like black smoke lightly when I pound it rich.

Did the tuner not tell you about the O2 sensors? MAF sensors?

Most tuners will state if all the sensors are good or if one reads funny.

    Who did the tine?

Rocky Mountain Comp. Research in Co. Springs. Nothing was said about the sensors

Sounds like a "safe" tune. Safe meaning no pre-ignition or detonation.

Yes! That's what it was. Does it affect my air/fuel though? After I get cats on should I be gtg? All my O2 sensors are on and ON.

Its a safe tune, it should be fine. If their are emissions laws....probably not so fine.

Yea emissions here. That's mainly why I'm worried about it running so rich.
