You would have to drop your rear end really far to pull it out without cutting. Borrow a sawzall, it takes 10s of seconds.

Used my sawzall with metal cutting blade, went through it like butta. Cut it just before the axle and they slide right out.

like cutting out of a wet paperbag........not that ive ever had to do that but i imagine it would be easy!!

I've cut them with a hand hacksaw before lying on my back, not hard, just takes time

Borrow, boy or rent a sawzall, you will thank us

I have taken them off on cars lift by unhooking the shocks and letting the rear axle droop. I'm not sure that you can get jack stands tall enough to give you the clearance you would need to do this on the ground. The mufflers and intermediates are too long.
