I have my car gutted right now to do some sound damping. While I have everything else out I want to pull the headliner and put some material up there as well as to recover the headliner with something cool. Funny enough this is the only part in the car that I have never had to take out and wondered if there is anything other then the dome light, visors, a/c pillars holding it up I need to be aware of?

yeah, a SHITLOAD of glue. If you want to get it out without creasing it you're going to have to be very patient and find a way to break the glue without pulling down on the cardboard.

The dome light doesn't hold anything up, it just floats in there.

Just use my little How-To article on re-doing your headliner.

It's easy to get down. Just gotta get the interior out and unhook the dome light. It basically falls out.

When I'm not lazy (after I get my car up and running today) I'll try to remember to turn that into a thread.

Thanks for the writeup!
