removing rear main seal...

so how do u remove the rear main seal? im working on my right now and i cant figure out how to remove it. any tips you guys have would be great thanx

I poked a tiny hole in it and then screwed a screw into the hole and pulled it out that way.

ok so you put a screw in it and pulled on it. but what did u pull on it with? just plyers or small vise grips?

yeah whatever u want bro, maybe even your hands, i don't remember how hard it was. Just be careful not to damage the metal around the seal.

yea i will...thanx for your help. i will try that when i get off work tonight. just in case that doesnt work tho do u know of any other way to remove it?

I think they make a special puller tool for it... it'll work though :santa_smiley:
