Removing the casing on my S-Trim???

i ned to remove the casing of my s-trim to have it polished or ceramic coated

i was wondering how complicated this was and if there is anything i need to be aware of or watch out for

I'm interested in knowing this as well. I'm getting all my piping powdercoated and would like the head unit casing paint matched.

i'm not sure how much different it is on those but i pulled my prochager d1sc housing and it was simple, the biggest part is just the back half. but imo it wasn't that bad anyone with some good mech skills should be fine

i dunno man, i can build motors and everything, but if i took my blower apart and messed it up i would be super pissed

the instructions are intimidating

yeah and that's not something I'm willing to mess up. If I'm really anal about it, I'll send it to vortech for disassembly. have them just send the case back. get it powdercoated. then send the case back to them for reassembly.

i just started polishing my non polished s trim and its really coming out nice. not as much work as i expected it to be.

it will probably take me 2 hours to fully polish it
