Easiest way to go about it... is to call your local drag strip.

They will tell you what needs to be done to do it.

Yep. We rented one of the local ones here out last year from 8am-10pm for pretty cheap (~$900 I think). Hosted a car show and drag racing all day.

All the proceeds (Minus renting expenses) went to a family who's young one needed a major surgery. Had a VERY nice turn out.

900 ?! Shit...our local track charges 500 for 4 hours.

Its an 1/8th mile track. Alot of the guys on our forum race there EVERY weekend. Very small, backwoods race track. Its pretty nice though.
